Texas Smokey Slow Cooked BBQ Ribs

A tomato & hickory smoked pepper sauce enriched with molasses sugar

SERVES 4

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • 400-600g of your favourite meat (or why not try some chunky root vegetables if you want a veggie option)
  • 1 pack of Just Add Texas Smoky BBQ Sauce

Optional:

  • 1 diced large red onion
  • 1 diced large red pepper

METHOD

    Place your ingredients into your slow cooker, stir to mix together
  • 2
    Place the lid on the cooker, turn to low and cook for 6-8 hours
  • 3
    Remove the lid, and season to taste†
  • Serve with roast potatoes or wedges.

    Chef's Tip

    Before slow cooking why not brown your meat and vegetables in a frying pan with a little oil to give your dish even more flavour?

    NO SLOW COOKER?

    Alternatively cook in a conventional oven in a casserole dish tightly covered with kitchen foil at 140°C / Gas Mark 1 for 3-4 hours or until your meat is tender.
